This song makes me think of a couple people ai cared for and saw them make abad choices that ended up taking them out of this world. I firmly believe we all have a day that is destined to be our last, but it's still hard to accept when someone goes out unexpectedly.

This is one of the most honestly moving songs I have heard in a long time. Last night my buddy and I started learning it on guitars and harmonica. I heard it all night long in my head then in my dreams. I realized this morning that the song is helping me get free. The girl reminds me so much of my soon to be ex and now I realize it isn't my fault. I tried for 20 years but I could not save her from herself and her crystal meth. I hope I don't have to take a rose to her funeral soon. I still love you baby girl. I thought you should know.

The first time I heard this song, I just found out my beautiful step-son passed away. Dylan died from an overdose of meth/fentanyl. Tragic ending to such a young life. I will be celebrating 12 years clean from illicit substances on July 2nd. God has blessed me with the gift of life today! I get to be apart of things even when it is hard! So grateful for all of you the had the courage to live your life!
